Friends of Bleecker Playgroundis a volunteer group of local families. We are making Bleecker Playground and the adjoining plaza cleaner and safer.
What we do: (1) Plan, manage and operate events at the Park throughout the year. (2) Communicate with NYC Parks for maintenance of the Park. (3) Participating in the NYC Councils Participatory Budget Process to make positive changes.
What we URGENTLY need:
Our goal is to raise $25,000;
Replace and clean the sand box, EVERY YEAR - $6,000
Replant the garden area and trees in the Park - $9,000
Update and maintain the sprinkler system annually - $1,000
